2018 Olympic Israel Skeleton Athlete
‘He who says he can and he who says he can’t are both usually right’–Confucius
I wish to inspire other young athletes from my country and community to pursue their athletic endeavors. Please click the “about AJ” page to read my full bio.
It is an honor to represent Israel in skeleton and bobsled.
I fell in love with sport when I first started playing hockey at age 3. Wanting to play the entire 60 minutes I chose the goalie position. Through high school I represented my hometown teams at age groups above my own.
Identified as a premier talent in middle school I was offered spots at top prep-schools in Massachusetts but opted to remain at my Orthodox Jewish day-school and not to pursue hockey past high-school. However, I decided to continue to play while at University for the MIT Engineers and following my senior season I transitioned to skeleton.
